Retirement Spotlight: Linda Warner White

Linda Warner White, 7th Grade Resource Teacher at Bennington Middle School, retires after 13 years of service to Bennington Public Schools.

Family/Work History:

26 years at Connectivity Solutions as Quality Control Specialist. My two children, Kayla Book Schnell and Brandon Book both graduated from BHS and continue to support the school district.

Favorite Memory at BPS:

One of my most special memories as a para was receiving the "Support Staff of the Year" award in 2022. Another favorite memory of mine happened before working at BHS. I had the privilege of being the choreography for the school musical, "Footloose" In 2007. I will always cherish that time, working with the entire high school cast.

I will miss the "dress up for school spirit days" during homecoming week. Also, I will truly miss the wonderful staff, friends, and amazing middle school students who somehow think I'm cool.

What's Next?

As I begin the next chapter of my life I would like to continue to be involved with the school district in any capacity that I can. I am also very fond of dogs, and I would like to volunteer at a dog rescue. But most importantly, I am looking forward to spending time with my grand daughter, Lainey.
