Mr Tom Schumacher, BHS Skills & Technical Sciences Teacher, retires after 32 years in teaching – 17 at Bennington Public Schools.

Bennington has been a great place to work and I have seen a lot of changes in the last 17 years. My favorite memory is 2009 Girls BB State Runner-Up, starting a school garden and SkillsUSA this year. I would like to thank all of my colleagues and students I have worked with throughout the years!

What's Next?

I will continue to be a Wind/Hail Insurance Claims Adjuster in the summer and into the fall. I also plan to spend more time on the farm with my father.
