We officially started dating in high school (summer of 2008) after “meeting” for the first time in cross country. Like any teenagers with crushes, we took every opportunity to be around each other especially at One Act and Track practices. When Matt graduated in 2009, we stayed together and navigated the college/high school relationship. When Tayler graduated in 2011, we broke up to explore “growing up” without each other. In summer of 2013 we reconnected, got engaged in 2014 and got married in 2015. Now, we live on an acreage just outside of Bennington with our 3 kids. You can bet our kids will be involved in track, cross country or One Act when in high school - after all, it’s what started this whole thing.
