Van and I have known each other since Kindergarten. We began dating our Junior year of high school. After graduating Van joined the Navy until March of 1977. I attended the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. We got married at the end of my junior year ( 1977) of college. A year later I began teaching at Bennington High and stayed for 40 years. Now 47 years, three kids and five grandkids later we are still living happily ever after.
